Handling of fraud cases

If a student commits or assists in a fraudulent procedure or attempted fraud in a partial performance related to a course, student’s performance will be rejected and the student may have to retake the course in question. The principal and the teacher of the study course in question agree on procedures on a case-by-case basis.

In the IB line, the section corresponding to the course completion is rejected and must be taken again or the section in question (e.g. in IA) is completely ignored.

The same procedure is followed if any performance related to the study course, which is evaluated and affects the grade of the study unit, turns out to be plagiarism.

Fraud cases are handled between the principal, the teacher of the study course in question and the student concerned. A memorandum is drawn up about this situation, which is signed by the parties involved.

Fraud is always reported to the student’s guardian.
